Just a couple of beer lovers who took the love to the next level. After visiting breweries all over New York State we started home brewing small batches out of our kitchen one day for fun, and that's how Hobit Hole began. Since then it became a passion we both share. Every single beer, every step of the process we do it together. You can taste the love we have for the art form and each other in every sip of Hobit Hole.
So why Hobit Hole? Simply put its the name of our home. When we started brewing we knew immediately that the only name for our beer needed to be the name of where we brewed it in our Hobit Hole.
Did you know Hobit is spelled Hobbit? Yes we did! So why did we misspell it? There are two reasons one is fairly obvious, we are not members of the Tolken family ergo we do not own the rights to the name. The other from a logo design standpoint, well dammit it's balanced.
